The students at Miami Lakes K-8 Center are lucky to have this dynamic decorating trio - Ibis Mendoza (Media Specialist), Celeste Peixe (artist and creator of CRAF-T BEE), and Erica Nunez (parent/volunteer)! You can tell they put a lot of thought and work into their colorful creations! Inspired by some of our talented contributors, here's a gorgeous spring display the team created for the season/Easter.

It's Spring Bulletin Board Display

  • Background: Cover the top two-thirds with sky blue bulletin board paper, adding green background paper to the bottom third in order to create a landscape.
  • Title: "It's Spring!...Branch Out with Books!" - or another title to suit your needs.
  • Border: None needed.
  • Decoration:Use colorful paper to create a vibrant spring landscape - adding a lush green tree, a picket fence, colorful blooms, a lake, and any other elements you can think of. As a focal point, add a paper or craft paint rainbow to the board, attaching colorful butterfly cutouts to each stripe and arranging them around the board as well.
