Check out this awesome winter math addition game freebie from Heidi over at Mrs. Samuelson's Swamp Frogs! It's simple, helps your students brush up on their math skills, and requires only three things to play; the game mat printable, a pack of crayons, and two game dice!

Here's how to play;

  • Each student picks a different color crayon.
  • Taking turns, invite students to roll the game dice, find the sum of the numbers rolled, and color in the corresponding number on one of the mittens.
  • The goal of the game is to color in a whole mitten with one color - i.e. one player colors in an entire mitten.
  • A player wins when they've colored in an entire mitten. In the event this does not occur, the winner is the player with the mose spaces colored.

Fun, right!? Head on over to Mrs. Samuelson's Swamp Frogs to grab a copy of this FREE game printable!
