Color-by-Number Name Worksheets
By Kayla • April 3, 2018
Still searching for first day/week activities for the new school year? Check out this simple color-by-number name activity from Erin of Royal Baloo. Not only is it a great way to reacquaint your new preschoolers with the letters in and spelling of their name, it's also a fun way to assess what your kiddos know about numbers and colors!
Great for small group instruction, we suggest first working through the key, inviting your students to color the actual color words with the coordinating color, then model how to identify the number label on the letter, find the matching numeral in the key, and identify and color the letter with the appropriate color.
Want to know what the best part is? Erin provides worksheets for the top 100 boy names and top 100 girl names, for FREE, over at her site! All you have to do is download and print the sheets you need! If you don't find the name you're looking for, she also provides a great tutorial for creating your own!
Be sure to head over to Royal Baloo and check out these great worksheets!
