Super Simple Velcro Activity for Fine Motor Skill Practice
By Kayla • April 3, 2018
Cari over at Time for Play is always coming up with the cutest activities for her Early Childhood classroom! Take, for example, this super simple velcro activity she put together to give her kiddos extra fine motor skill practice. With only a few simple items, your kiddos will be occupied for hours!
Supplies:
Using a hot glue gun, adhere velcro dots to the ends of jumbo craft sticks (on each side), as well as to the middle of a few. Adhere a velcro dot to the top of each bottle lid as well (make sure you have an assortment of colors - size shouldn't matter). Once the glue has had a chance to set, you're ready to go!
This activity would be great for center time, or even for traveling! It will provide your kiddos with hours of fine motor skill practice and could even be used to practice matching (with the bottle cap lids), colors, creating shapes and problem-solving.
