Remind App for Safe Classroom Communication

By Kayla β€’ April 3, 2018

Keeping students and parents in the know regarding classroom schedules, events, etc. can be tricky. I went looking for a more convenient solution and discovered the Remind App, designed specifically for teachers and coaches, that allows me to instantly text parents/students and it's one of my favorite classroom tools!

Other App Details

  • Interactions are safe because phone numbers are always kept private.
  • Messages are one-way only - i.e. I can text my parents/students, but they cannot text me back.
  • Sign-up is super simple - i.e. parents can download the app, sign up online, or even join via SMS! All they need is the class code!
  • Teachers and students can access all of their classes in one place.

I mainly use this program for quick reminders or changes that happen during the school week and, not only is it convenient for me, I've also received tons of great feedback from parents!
