Paint For The Side Walk

If you're looking for a new outdoor activity, try this side walk chalk with a twist! Provided by Tami, creator of Learning and Teaching With Preschoolers, this 'chalk' remains washable but can be painted on!
Tami's Recipe for Side Walk Chalk Paint
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup corn starch
- Paint
After mixing together your desired colors, place paint into shallow containers and arm your students with brushes, rollers, stamps, old cars, and any other print making tool you can think of. Just like chalk, this paint is washable, but provides a more versatile way of decorating outside surfaces.
Give each student their own 'square' to decorate as they please, or work together to create a mural that relates to an area of classroom study. Your students will enjoy a break from the room, exploring new art tools, and creating to their hearts content!
