Looking for some holiday number practice? Here's a cute little gingerbread themed counting/emergent reader created by Fran of Kindergarten Crayons. As they determine how many buttons each gingerbread man should have {and add them to the page!}, your kiddos will build...

  • Numeral recognition
  • Number word recognition
  • Handwriting skills

As a bonus, the booklet features black and white images so your preschoolers can have fun coloring the pages after completing the exercise.

[NOTE: For a reusable center activity, color and laminate the pages, binding them together with a binder ring. Students can then use dry erase markers to trace and write the numerals, as well as add the buttons. Then, simply wipe the pages with a paper towel, and the exercise is ready for the next student!]

Be sure to head over to Kindergarten Crayons for this fabulous holiday download!
