Need a fun, last minute Thanksgiving activity for preschoolers? Check out this cute emergent reader from Barb at Mrs. Kilburn's Kiddos! Written in the familiar style of Eric Carle's Brown Bear, Brown Bear, the reader explores the various symbols of Thanksgiving - pilgrims, Native Americans, turkeys, cornucopias, and more!

Since the book follows a familiar pattern, your kiddos will feel a sense of pride that they can 'read' the book - using the cutesy clip art images as a guide. Perhaps you might start out by reading the book as a class, then have your preschoolers split up into pairs so that they can practice reading the book to each other!

Be sure to head on over to Mrs. Kilburn's Kiddos for this fantastic download!
