Natalie over at smART Class did this gorgeous end of the year bubble project with her students and we love how it turned out! The oil pastel bubbles really stand out on the black construction paper!

While the finished product turned out awesome, the process was just as important! First, Natalie and her kiddos watched several bubble videos [the video links can be found at the original post]. Next, Natalie blew bubbles as her students carefully observed. Then, they had a class discussion of their observations, identified the properties of bubbles, etc. Finally, they got out the pastels and construction paper and drew bubbles of their own!

We love how the individual projects became a collaborative mural! Be sure to head over to smART Class for the video links and lots of great pictures of this project!
