Can you believe it? Spring has finally arrived! In celebration of the sun's return we've been on the hunt for lesson plans and ideas revolving around all things Spring. In our search we came across this incredible Springtime Lapbook idea featured on Rockabye Butterfly.

Springtime Lapbook

Putting the lapbook together will be relatively simple. Here's a list of what you will need:

2 File folders
Several envelopes (varied sizes and colors)
Notebook paper
Spring stickers {optional}
Markers
Glue, Scissors, Stapler
Free printables (provided here)

With all of your supplies in hand you can get to work creating the different activities and putting together your lapbook. In the provided example, the two file folders are glued together to create a larger lapbook. They also take the lapbook one step further by creating an additional workbook out of notebook paper and storing it inside the first file folder. Checkout a few pages from the additional workbook:
