Spring Butterfly Matching
By Kayla • April 3, 2018

We're certain that this gorgeous file folder game created by Jenn over at Mama Jenn would make a great addition to your spring butterfly/insect unit! Not only is it a great fine motor building activity - your kiddos will strengthen small motor muscles as they handle the small butterfly cutouts and work with the Velcro - but the matching activity also provides a great way to build visual discrimination skills.
While the file folder is a great way to keep all of the pieces contained, if you don't have the opportunity or time to assemble the full file folder game, you might consider simply downloading the beautiful butterfly prints and creating simple cards that can be used to play a memory matching game.
For the butterfly prints and a better look at how Jenn created the file folder game, be sure to visit Mama Jenn!
