One of our talented readers, Lori Zitzelberger {creator of Mud Pie Studio and parent volunteer at an elementary school in her community}, recently shared this handmade bulletin board she created for February. Not only is it super cute, we also think it offers a great example of how to get "extra mileage" out of your hard work! Here's what she had to say about the bulletin board design...

"I painted and then laminated Cat in the Hat for this Dr. Seuss bulletin board. After Valentines Day, all the hearts will be removed [and the text changed] to say  "Hats Off to Reading" or "Hats Off to Dr. Seuss" for Reading Across America/Dr. Seuss birthday in March. The students' school and art work goes in the middle of the board."

We're always excited to see Lori's designs because she's such a talented artist - she creates most of the elements herself! - and because her bulletin board ideas are always so vibrant and fun!
