"GROWL If You Love The Book Fair!" Monster Themed Book Fair
By Kayla • April 3, 2018
The November book fair at Miami Lakes K-8 Center was a monstrous success! Isn't the monster theme great?! The decor is, of course, tailored for a book fair, but we think there are some elements that would make a great addition to a classroom monster theme!
The decorating kudos goes to this lovely group of volunteers!
Karlyn Tymosko (Volunteer), Ibis Mendoza (Media Specialist), Norma Azcuy (Volunteer), Ana Reyes (Volunteer), and Erica Nunez (Scholastic Chair)
Decorations
Inspired by Pinterest, several crafty middle school volunteers created this fun monster bulletin board!
Adorned with characters from the movie Monsters, Inc., cutesy sayings, and festive colors, the library was certainly inviting!
Highlights & Extras
On family night at the book fair there are always special things going on! "Reading Under the Stars" is always a hit...
...and, this year, the ladies also planned and put together a fun monster craft!
Looks like another success! Thank you Erica for sharing!!
