Apple Investigations
By Kayla • April 3, 2018
Similar to investigating a pumpkin, an apple investigation is a great back-to-school/September activity to do with your new kinders! While it's likely most of your students have eaten or at least tasted an apple, they've probably never taken the time to really study/explore it. This is a great chance for them to get hands on!
To go with the activity, we created a fun organizer for your students to use to record their findings {see above}!
With it, your kinders will...
- Describe the color and texture of the outside of their apple
- Draw a picture of the outside of their apple
- Draw a picture of the inside of their apple
- Count and graph the number of seeds found inside their apple
- And compare their seed graph with a friend's!
