How To Make A Hand Print Apple Tree

Invite students to dip the tip of their finger into a shallow bowl of green washable paint then make a series of fingerprints (in the shape of an oval) to one side of their white construction paper.

Help students coat one finger with brown craft paint.

Encourage students to press their entire finger to the paper, directly under the freshly created "leaves" to create a tree trunk.

Once the tree trunk and leaves have dried, invite students to dip the tip of their finger into washable red paint and create "apples" on and around the tree.
