Now that you've gotten your kiddos little pirates all suited up with hats, eye patches, vests, and belts, it's time for some fun tools and accessories! How awesome is this hook craft from Aimee and Bettijo, creators of Paging Supermom and guest crafters at Make and Takes?! This dynamic duo hosted a 'Pirate Day' play date and tested this harmless hook on their little scalawags - unsurprisingly, it was a huge hit!

With tons of great pictures and step-by-step directions, we're certain you and your kiddos will be able to create your own hooks. [NOTE: The craft requires the use of an X-acto knife and scissors to create a hole in the bottom of a plastic cup. For safety reasons, an adult should complete these steps so plan accordingly!]

For this awesome tutorial, be sure to visit Make and Takes and get started on this fun addition to your kiddos' pirate costumes!
