Patriotic Eagle Craft

Memorial day is a day to honor the military men and women, both past and present, who have fought to protect our country and the freedoms we enjoy. Nicole, kindergarten teacher and creator of Mrs. Ricca's Kindergarten, shared this great inspirational craft that would be a fantastic addition to your holiday lesson plans.
As an important symbol of our country, the bald eagle represents strength and courage, displayed everyday by the men and women who defend our country, and freedom, an ideal that would not be possible without their dedication and service. By having students create the eagle's wings from their hand prints, they are reminded that they too have a part it making our country great!
