Mount Rushmore Mask Craft for President's Day

This festive craft comes from Preschool Crafts for Kids! Super simple to assemble and fun to create, this project is a fabulous way to incorporate the theme "Past Greats, Future Greats!" into your lesson plans this President's Day! After all, nothing says 'success' or 'you are destined for great things' like a spot on Mount Rushmore next to several of the most important men who have shaped our country!
As we stated before, the simplicity of the craft makes it a great choice for students of all ages, as well as a frugal choice for your pocket book. Created for items you can easily find in your craft closet or around the house - paper plates, white card stock, glue, and graphic art tools {crayons, colored pencils, or markers} - we think that the finished projects are super fun as masks, but would also look great as a classroom display! All you have to do is add a picture of each kiddo to the opening on the mask!
