Halloween Tree Centerpiece or Classroom Decoration
By Kayla • April 3, 2018
How fabulous is this?! We think it would work great as a centerpiece for your classroom Halloween party, or even as a cutesy decoration to set out on your desk or windowsill for the holiday season! This crafty goodness comes from Jamielyn of I {Heart} Nap Time, so be sure to head on over there for the tutorial!
Supplies You'll Need
- Large sheets of black craft foam
- Craft glue
- Halloween foam cutouts or orange and white foam sheets
The spooky tree will be cut from the large sheets of black craft foam - simply find a clip art image or template online {enlarge if needed}, cut the image in half, and trace the half-tree onto a large sheet of craft foam. Complete this tracing process four times, then construct the tree by attaching the four pieces together. To finish the decoration, fill the empty branches with Halloween themed foam cutouts - ghosts, pumpkins, leaves, etc. You might be able to find prefabricated cutouts at your local craft or teachers supply store or you could find a template online and use it to trace and cut your own cutouts from craft foam. Super simple, super cute, and super festive!
