Cute Fall Craft - Mason Jar Scarecrow
By Kayla • April 3, 2018
This adorable mason jar scarecrow comes from Momstown Arts and Crafts. Not only is it a perfect project for the fall season, it's a great way to use up some extra items you might have lying around the house!
Supplies You'll Need
- Mason jar, recycled coffee can, recycled large plastic yogurt container, etc.
- Brown craft paper, construction paper, recycled paper bag, etc.
- Coffee filter
- Decorating embellishments - ribbon, sequins, buttons, raffia, foam sheets, yarn, markers, etc.
- Craft glue
Use the brown paper to cover the mason jar, creating a face from the embellishments {i.e. sequins or buttons for eyes, yarn or marker for the mouth, etc}. Cover the top of the jar with the raffia and add a coffee filter "hat", embellished with a ribbon band and button/other type of decoration.
