Recycling Find & Tally Graphing Activity
By Kayla • April 3, 2018
Check out this great Earth Day math activity from Renee over at Fantastic First Grade Froggies! While it feels more like a game, your kinders will actually be building visual discrimination, counting, and graphing skills! Provided with a worksheet reminiscent of popular seek and find books (and with a cutesy recycling theme that's perfect for Earth Day!), invite your kiddos to find, count, and tally the number of each item on the sheet. Once they've collected all of the data, students can then graph the results.
Renee actually provides this exact math center in her Earth Day packet at Teachers Pay Teachers! We highly recommend checking out this exercise, as well as the other fantastic activities she created for Earth Day!
