Pretend Play - Making Perfume
By Kayla • April 3, 2018
Crystal over at Growing A Jeweled Rose came up with a wonderful sensory pretend play exercise that we know your preschoolers will have a ball with! Perfect for spring explorations {or even Mother's Day activities}, we love that it makes use of natural elements, combining different textures and smells...
Supplies You'll Need
- Mixing bowls in assorted sizes
- Spoons, whisks, etc.
- Measuring cups
- Fresh flowers
- Essential oils {Crystal suggests lavender and rose}
- Water
- Food coloring
If you can manage, do this activity outside to cut down on the mess and to allow your students a chance to explore the materials freely.
For the full activity, and lots of other great sensory play ides, be sure to visit Growing A Jeweled Rose!
