Picnic Pest Counting

Here's a cute counting activity to include in your spring/summer theme math center! It's super simple and will help your kiddos review numerals as well as practice counting! {Sorry we don't have a picture of the actual activity!}
Supplies You'll Need
- Colorful ant cutouts
- Black dry erase marker
- Food accents - fruit, vegetables, pizza, cupcakes, candy, etc.
Script a different numeral onto each ant cutout, and to play, invite your kiddos to identify the number and load up each picnic pest with the appropriate amount of picnic food! We like the ease of purchasing accents, but you most certainly could make your own pieces - simply download various clip art images, print onto white card stock, and cut out!
