Dicewalking - Summer Fun in the Sun!
No reviews
We didn't know what 'dicewalking' was until we saw this post by Jean over at The Artful Parent, but after reading a bit about it, we know it will be an instant hit with the kiddos this summer! All it takes is a homemade die with arrows on it and an adventurous spirit...
- Print and assemble the arrow die {Jean got hers from Keri Smith's book, 'The Guerilla Art Kit', but you could also make your own or check out the free printable template from FamilyFun!}
- Head to the nearest sidewalk.
- Roll the die and follow the arrow.
- Every time you reach an intersection, repeat Step 3!
Oh, the places you'll go! Perhaps you trek through familiar streets or discover previously unknown paths - either way, we know that your preschoolers will L.O.V.E. it! And once you get back, you can have your kiddos write about their adventures...
To see pictures of their grand adventure and links to the arrow die, be sure to visit The Artful Parent!
