Growing Kinders, created by kindergarten teacher, Kathleen, has become a fast favorite for fabulous center ideas and printables! When looking for fun apple themed ideas for back-to-school, fall, and Johnny Appleseed Day, we knew it would be one of our first stops and Kathleen didn't disappoint! Her colorful activities and center exercises make us want to go back to kindergarten! You'll have to head over to Growing Kinders for the full lesson, but here's a sneak peek at one of our favorite activities from the unit!

Apple Roll, Count, & Color

Creating her own game board/worksheet, Kathleen invited her kiddos to roll the game die, identify the numeral displayed, and color the apple with the same number of seeds. Great for strengthening numeral recognition, 1:1 correspondence, and counting skill - your kiddos are sure to have a great time coloring their game board and socializing with their classmates as they learn!

For this fun math game and for the rest of Kathleen's apple-tastic learning centers, be sure to visit Growing Kinders!
