100th Day Counting & Gross Motor Fun!
By Kayla • April 3, 2018
Get your kiddos up and moving during your 100th day of school celebration with this fun activity from first grade teacher, Ms. V! If you can, head to the gym so that your kiddos can spread out. If that's not an option, be sure to look over the list and tailor it to fit your learning space (e.g. you probably won't be running the 100 yard dash in your classroom!). Most of the bullets on the list will allow you to work as a group, performing the task and counting as a class. There are a few, however, that will offer your preschoolers independent or partnered counting practice. For example, bouncing a ball or throwing a ball with a partner.
Whether you decide to tailor the list to fit your students' skill level and/or space requirements, we're certain your preschoolers will enjoy the activity!
