It's hard to believe St. Patrick's Day is less than a week away! To add a little St. Patrick's Day fun to your literacy center, check out this super cute game created by Linda over at Primary Inspiration. Drawing on the 'LuCK of the Irish,' your kiddos will have a chance to practice decoding words containing /ck/. And what child doesn't enjoy a friendly game of Four in a Row?!?

Linda provides the game board and instructions for FREE here. All you will need is a die and two different colored sets of markers (one set for each child) and you will be ready to get the game started! May the luck of the Irish be with you!

If you're planning on using the game in your literacy center, be sure to laminate the game board to withstand repeated use. Your kiddos are sure to want to play more than once!!
