Monster Counting!
By Kayla • April 3, 2018
How cute are these monster themed counting cards from Pam of Over The Big Moon?! If you have a monster classroom theme or students who simply like the colorful critters, we think these printables are great for strengthening numeral recognition, one to one correspondence, and counting skills.
A few suggestions...
- Print, cut, laminate, and bind worksheet pages with a binder ring. As they count, have students use a dry erase marker to place a check mark over each monster.
- Cut the numerals/number words from the monster clip art, laminating both sections of the worksheet pages, and inviting students to match the correct numbers with the monster counting cards. {You could make it a 3-part matching activity by separating the number words too!}
