Mom, You Are 'Berry' Special! - Strawberry Card Craft for Mother's Day
By Kayla • April 3, 2018
Can you believe that May - and Mother's Day, for that matter - are right around the corner?! If you're looking for something special for your kiddos to make and take home, we've been scouting our favorite resources for crafts, cards, and homemade gifts to share!
We absolutely adore this homemade strawberry card from All Kids Network! Easy enough for even the littlest crafters, the provided template makes it easy enough to create the fruit shape and the rest is up to your kiddos. We know your kiddos will have a blast creating the seeds, especially if you provide some fun art materials to explore.
Fingerprints are, of course, a fine option for printing. However, if you have a student who doesn't like to get their hands dirty (or if you don't have time to supervise 26 children to make sure they're using the paint/ink correctly and safely!), you might also consider having them create prints with pencil erasers. Additionally, as an added sensory component, you might add some strawberry extract to the black paint to create a yummy smell or even have your kiddos use strawberry jello paint.
We know this card will be a hit this Mother's Day! Be sure to visit All Kids Network for the template and poem!
