Looking for a fun way to practice with word families this Halloween? Here's a fun spider themed center idea that's colorful and provides an opportunity for your kinders to practice with the -at, -ap, and -an word families.
Activity preparation...
- Print the word family webs onto colored paper, cut out, and laminate to reduce wear and tear.
- Print the word cards onto white card stock, cut the cards apart, and laminate them to reduce wear and tear.
To complete the activity...
1) Have students sort the word cards onto the correct word family web.
2) Working web by web, invite students to record their work; coloring the web to
