FREE Presidential Patterning Worksheets + President's Day Puzzle!
By Kayla • April 3, 2018
When we originally stumbled across this link on a teacher friend's Pinterest page, we thought it was simply a patriotic 9-piece puzzle that might make a nice addition to your President's Day lessons. Turns out, we were wrong and were thrilled to find out that Emiko Eda's FREE printable pack {on her Teachers Pay Teachers site} also offers sight word exercises, patterning activities, fine motor building, and more! Our favorite activities are the puzzle {it is, afterall, what drew our attention in the first place!} and the patterning exercise. Emiko provides patriotic stars and hearts, as well as red, white, and blue circle counters that can be used to create simple and/or complex patterns.
Since our preschoolers do better with patterning mats, we created several patriotic activity mats to go along with Emiko's red, white, and blue counters. Scroll down to add the patterning mats to your cart and download them for FREE! [NOTE: To accommodate the size of the counters, these activity mats need to be printed on legal sized paper.]
To get your own copy of Emiko's President's Day kindergarten fun pack, be sure to visit her Teachers Pay Teachers site! And, of course, don't forget to download the supplemental patterning mats!
