Circus Themed Preschool Printables from Homeschool Creations

In honor of Mardi Gras tomorrow, we're featuring Jolathe's awesome circus preschool pack! We thought it was similar enough to the carnival theme and that the activities would work out just great for your centers! Ticket Matching
Invite your students to practice numeral and number word recognition with this fun matching activity.
Students can play as directed, laying the number word tickets out on a flat surface (in proper order) and finding the proper numeral match, or you might try one of these activity suggestions...
- Place all the ticket cards face down on a flat surface and have students test their memory/matching skills with a game of concentration.
- Mix all the tickets together in a paper bag, passing one to each student. On your count, have students race to find the classmate who holds the ticket that matches their own. Time yourselves to see how long it takes to make all the matches and try to beat your record.
- Send your kiddos on a scavenger hunt - pass out a number word ticket to each participant and invite them to search the classroom for the match.
- For a bit of sensory fun, hide the (laminated) tickets in a tub of "cotton candy" (cotton batting, cotton balls, etc.) and invite students to search for matches.
