Mother's Day Portraits
Have your kiddos start with a sheet of construction paper, perhaps in their mother's favorite color, and create a portrait of their mom using scraps of construction paper, fabric, yarn, etc. Then, using Lori's awesome free printable, invite your students to brainstorm words that describe their mom. For the younger set, Lori included a few helps/fill in the blanks - i.e. ______ hair, ______ eyes, etc. For the older set, the boxes are simply blank and waiting for your kiddos' creative responses!
