Hi, I’m Michael Johnson — a husband, father, and lifelong learner with a passion for education, personal growth, and finding practical ways to make life better.

I’ve been providing educational products, printables, and resources to parents and teachers since 2008, when I started this business with my brother and sister. Today, I run that business from home, working alongside my amazing wife, Kayla, as we homeschool our three children — Brynley, Gemma, and Paxton. I love that I get to combine my love for teaching with my desire to support families and educators around the world.

Whether I’m designing a new printable, researching homeschool curriculum, or tackling a DIY home repair project, I’m always learning something new. In fact, one of the biggest learning adventures our family has taken was selling our custom-built “forever home,” buying a beat-up house, and completely gutting and remodeling it — all so we could live debt-free. It was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made, and it taught us the value of hard work, contentment, and freedom.

Outside of work, I enjoy playing golf, taking care of our yard, and digging into ways to save money. I’m a bit of a credit card and rewards program nerd (okay, maybe more than a bit!) — I even have a master spreadsheet to keep track of it all. I love finding smart, strategic ways to stretch our dollars and maximize the perks.

Most importantly, I’m a Christian, and my faith guides everything I do — from how we raise and teach our children to how I run my business and interact with others. I’m deeply thankful for my parents, who modeled the value of integrity, perseverance, and hard work, and for the opportunity I’ve had to build a business that lets me serve others while being present with my family.
