For students interested in engineering and physiology, this articulated hand tutorial we found over at Instructables is sure to be a hit! From signing to picking up an object, the model hand demonstrates how the various parts of a human hand - including the skeletal structure and muscular system - work together to complete various tasks. This project is quite labor intensive and requires the use of power tools as well as a knowledgeable and competent carpenter for completion. However, the results are well worth the work!
