Laurie then added a band of lighter orange paper and a sunflower to create visual interest and differentiate the brim from the rest of the hat. The design is super cute, but remember that you can customize the hat as you please! First of all, I just want to highlight how perfect Michelle's spider web is. Isn't it amazing?! I need to ask her how she made it, but if we were tackling this bulletin board, here are a few ways we might go about recreating the web. (A) Find a clip art image online, use your classroom projector system to enlarge the design, then trace it in pencil onto the background paper. To finish, trace over the pencil lines with a white paint pen. (B) Follow the same steps above, but instead of tracing the pencil lines with a paint pen, use craft glue to glue white yarn to the design. This offers a more three-dimensional look which could be cool and a bit more 'realistic' looking. 2) The Book Covers. Make color copies of the physical book covers you intend to display, print colored pictures of the covers using images found online, or display collect actual book covers to display. Use your classroom projector system to enlarge the clip art image and trace the silhouetted landscape (houses, trees, and shrubs) onto black bulletin board paper. Cut out the silhouette and, before attaching the cutout to the background, add the printed photos to the windows of the houses. [NOTE: You'll most likely have to trim them to fit!] If you run out of window spaces, you might consider creating a 'spooky' wrought iron or picket fence from gray construction paper, attaching it at the bottom of the board and having students 'poke out' from behind the spindles. 3) The Halloween Accents. Cut a large circle 'moon' from yellow bulletin board paper and add it to the night sky. For a 'spooky' effect, cut thin wispy 'clouds' from gray construction paper and arrange them around the moon - like this \u003ca href=\"http:\/\/www.mpmschoolsupplies.com\/ideas\/1041\/spooktacular-haunted-house-bulletin-board\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-ad-id=\"post-content-link\"\u003eHalloween bulletin board\u003c\/a\u003e.
