While they won't be sorting physical cards or three-dimensional objects, in essence, your preschoolers will be grouping the shapes on the page; first, determining whether the image falls into the category of small, medium, or large, and then checking the key and coloring the apple in with the corresponding color. Then, as a class, they compiled their responses and graphed the results to see what color apple was most preferred by the class.
