How cute is this St. Patrick's Day themed math activity from Randi over at Teaching With Class?! If the adorable clip art doesn't sell you on the activity, we know the early math practice will. Provided with a basket of the cutesy clip art shamrocks, students are invited to sort the cutouts by pattern; spotted, solid, or plaid. With this task complete, students can move on to the graphing component - using the fun graphing worksheet included in the packet, of course! By the end of the activity, students will count and record the number in each sorted group, both on the provided graph and in the summary questions, and determine which type of shamrock they had the most of. Definitely a cute way to spice up your math center for the holidays!

[NOTE: Randi also shares this idea at her blog, but we thought it important to pass on that these adorable shamrock cutouts can also be used for other centers - i.e. patterning, memory matching, etc!]
