Full of Treasure!

  • Background: Emerald bulletin board paper.
  • Title: "____________ [Kindergarten, Mrs. Nelson's Class, Room 203, etc.] is Full of TREASURE!" - We love how Ashley printed her own title, using the 'Girls Are Weird' font from FontSpace {shown below}, and mounted the words onto complimentary construction paper!Girls Are Weird font from Font Space
  • Border: St. Patrick's Day bulletin board or solid trimmer in a complimentary color.
  • Decoration: 1) The Pot of Gold. Cut a large cauldron shape from black bulletin board paper, using white chalk or a white crayon to add shading/dimension. 'Fill' the cauldron with gold construction paper circles; again using crayons or perhaps a gold metallic paint pen to add detailing to the cutouts in order to create the illusion of individual gold coins. Arranging pictures of your students amid the 'gold coins' adds the final touch. 2) The Rainbow. Using the width of your pot of gold cutout as a guide, cut a simple arch from white bulletin board paper. Armed with craft paint, invite your students to help you create the colored stripes of the rainbow - using their hand prints! Once dry, attach the rainbow cutout to the bulletin board, securing the pot of gold cutout underneath. 3) The Shamrocks. Find a shamrock template online, printing and cutting accents from various shades of green construction paper. Arrange the cutouts around the bulletin board!
