Make Your Own Wind Turbine - Science Fair Project
For those students interested in engineering and environmental science, this wind turbine project from Yvon, contributor at Instructables, is sure to inspire some great project ideas!
Using the tutorial as a guide for creating miniature turbine models, students might explore how various design components effect voltage/electrical output.
For example;
- Turbine size
- Blade size/shape
- Number of blades
Additionally, students might measure how wind speed, turbine location, etc. might effect the performance of the turbine!
