Print Making on the Easel

Print making is always a fun task to undertake in your preschool and kindergarten classes! It strengthens hand-eye coordination, introduces students to a wide variety of mediums, and produces a wonderful sense of awe as students see the image or pattern transferred from source to paper!

Supplies You'll Need
- Kids easel
- Chicken wire (or other textured printing source)
- Craft paint
- Kids paint brushes
- White drawing paper To set up for the project, attach the piece of chicken wire to the classroom easel and set out assorted colors of paint in shallow containers. Have students take turns using paint brushes to paint the chicken wire (covering such a small area will build hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, and patience!) then, when they're satisfied with the coverage, carefully place a piece of drawing paper on top, press firmly, and remove to find the print! A unique craft that your students are sure to remember!
